    • Reticulated Polyether, also known as PPI Foam, is used predominantly for pond and aquaria filtration. Polyether is chemically stable in non-neutral aqueous conditions. The filter is the life support of the tank or pond and hence a healthy filter means healthy fish. The filter serves a variety of important functions which include protecting the pump from debris, breaking down dissolved fish bio-waste thus reducing nutrients that promote algae growth and aiding entrapment of smaller suspended particulates.

    Reticulated Polyether foam has excellent resistance to water (including salt water), humidity, soap, oils and lubricants. Swelling may occur in the presence of organic solvents depending on the type and concentration. In biotechnological water purification applications theFoam is used as a carrier of bacteria and improves the active surface & efficiency of the bioreactor.
