    • Memory Foam, sometimes called "visco-elastic polyurethaneFoam" was originally developed for use in the space programme because of its ability to distribute pressure across an entire surface.
    While memory foam was used in the space program, it was subsequently used in the medical industry for its therapeutic properties. Its unique elastic properties moulds to form a specific shape and holds that shape in a supportive, comfortable position, therefore offering total anatomical support and comfort.

    In recent years, visco-elastic memory foam has adopted many uses. Its common applications are for mattresses, pillows and mattress toppers.

    Deluxe (High density)   Firmness rating: medium-firm
    3 inch quality high-density memory foam layer combined with 5 inch quality reflex foam. Supplied with a quilted dry-cleanable zip off cover. Hypoallergenic. Suitable for all bed bases. Total thickness 9 inches (22cm) including cover.

    These copycat foams may weigh out when it comes to density but the comfort, support, and durability will be much different. They add sizzle to these copycat foams by inventing fake trademark names and long warranties to make it look like you are getting the best deal when you try to compare. This may sound like common sense but always ask: who manufactured the Foam you are buying. Is it made in North America or Far-East with harmful chemicals?
